It seems like Christmas day always go by so fast that everyone's just a little dazed the next day.

Just Two More Days

Wishing everyone a great Thanksgiving when we can appreciate all life's accomplishments: big and small :)

An Early Happy Halloween

If I had a trick-or-treater show up at my door wearing three costumes in one I would give them all my candy :)
The conclusion for The Boy and his Hotdog Comic.  I went with what happened to me when I was eating my favorite sub sandwich at the beach.  Seagulls are aggressive :(

Hot Dog

So, here's the question: what happens next?
-does it end here with a happy boy and a sad sea gull?
-does the sea gull get revenge and steal the hot dog?
-or does the sea gull steal the hot dog then the boy must seek vengeance?
Check back soon to see.  I may continue this one :)

Beach Trip

Beach trips can require some patience up front, but at the end of the day, it's all worth it!

Room Rounding

When I was little, I absolutely loved spinning in circles until I was so dizzy I had to lay down.  Part of the appeal was that the room would still look like it was spinning.  Somehow in our family we started calling this the "room rounding" and to this day if I get dizzy that is what pops in my head :)

Redwood Sighting

This weekend I got to walk around in Jedidiah Smith Redwood State Park in Northern California with my husband.  These trees are amazing and I wanted to capture some of that state of awe I was feeling in a comic.

Bumper Bowl

I was inspired by the little boy in the lane next to us when we went bowling this weekend.  He had quite an interesting technique.  Then again, when the ball is as big as your head and twice as heavy, you do what you've gotta do.

Toy Bird

Slightly inspired by "The Velveteen Rabbit," I decided to do a comic about a toy bird who wants to be like a real bird and fly.  Eventually, with the help of a new friend, he's able to reach his dreams :)

Tomato Splat!

This is inspired by my husband's favorite childhood memory when he saw a mailman squish a tomato while he and his mom were on a walk.

a Bird and a Fish

What happens when a bird and a fish fall in love?  Well, first they get married, then they have to find somewhere to live, which is when the real adventure begins.  That's the case with the seagull and fish in this comic.  Enjoy!
